Public Use Computers
Where are they and when may they be used?
Computers are available at all locations from opening until 15 minutes before closing.
What kind of computers are they?
PCs - IBM compatibles with CD-R drives and USB ports
Are reservations possible?
Yes, in person or online.
What are the reservation policies?
With a library card: Free reservations Up to seven days in advance One per day One hour (up to one hour more is possible if available) 10¢ per page for printing	With a guest pass: Free reservations Same day only One per day Limited to one hour (no additional time possible) 10¢ per page for printing
What software do they run?
Main Library: MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word; Encarta Encyclopedia & Africana, Atlas, Dictionary, Researcher; FDR; Streets & Trips; Tutorials. Accessories: Calculator, Paint, Notepad, Wordpad. Internet Explore	Branches: Access, Word, Excel, Paint, PowerPoint, Publisher, Internet Explorer
Can I use headphones with the computers?
All public computers accept headphone jacks. Bring your own, or buy earbud-style headphones from us for $1.25 each.
Can anybody help me?
Software manuals and limited help are available at all times.
